"For your first mission, as a member of Akatsuki, I want you to recruit someone for us. We could make good use of his skills," Pein stated, handing the other man a folder. Pein went on, "He was last spotted near the Eastern border of the Fire Country. Can you handle this task alone? It should be easy enough." Pein stared at the man infront of him waiting for a reply.
The other man's smirk was hidden beneath his mask. "Don't worry... I'll take care of it," he stated with certainty.
Pein reclined back in his seat, a smile playing at the corner of his mouth, "I'm counting on you," he stated, dismissing the other man from his presence.
--
The blond sighed loudly as he stretched his arms above his head. He tightened his pony-tail unconsciously and continued walking down the invisible road. The man's eyes wandered the never-ending sky, bored. He sighed again.
"You do know that every time you sigh your life span shortens", a voice stated from within the trees.
The blonde's senses went on high alert as he took a defensive stance. "Who's there, un!?"
The voice laughed, coming closer. A masked figure stepped out from behind a nearby tree, hands held up out in front of him to show him defenseless. "I. Found. You," he sang, giggling.
"Eh? What do you want with me, un? And who are you anyways?" The blonde asked cautiously.
The masked figure pointed a finger at himself. "Hmm, I'm Tobi." He re-directed the finger pointing at him towards the other man. "And your Deidara, ne?"
Deidara's eyes narrowed, "I Know who Iam, un," he growled, his temper slipping. Deidara straightened up, "You still haven't answered my question," he reminded Tobi.
Tobi took in the other man's appearance. Blond hair tied up in a high pony tail, cloudy, blue eyes, slender, small build.Tobi took out a file from inside his cloak and flipped through it, ignoring the others stream of questions. "It says male," he says more to himself than Deidara.
Deidara, fist clenched, growls,"I. Am. A. Guy!" Deidara's temper snaps. He strangles the other with his feet, in a comedic fashion.
Panting, from wrestling, both menlay in the middle of the road. Deidara sits up, in a bad mood. "What the hell do you want already,un!?"
Tobi stands up, brushing debris off of himself. "I'm here to recruit you," he says. "Our leader believes you will be a useful member to Akatsuki." Tobi then goes onto tell the other about the organization.
--
"Like I would want to join an organization with someone like you!" Deidara stated rudely.
"Oh?" Tobi raised an eyebrow questioningly, "And what do you find so dis-tasteful about me, Deidara-sempai?"
Deidara scoffed, "Well for on-... SEMPAI!? Who the hell are you cal-... Why the hell are you calling me"sempai", un!?" Deidara screeched.
Tobi shrugs and sighs, "Were not getting anywhere like this." He turns his back to the other. "I could just beat the crap out of him and carry him back, but that might cause problems." Tobi scratches the back of his head absent-minded.
"I'm not joining your little club," Deidara states firmly, ignoring the others plotting of how to drag him along.
Madara's mask as Tobi starts to slip. He reaches over and grabs Deidara by the collar, slamming him up against a tree. He slides his leg between the others, pinning him.
Deidara's breath hitches, face flushed.
"I'm done asking! My orders are to bring you back by any means necessary." Tobi states firmly.
Deidara gags, the grip on his collar choking him, "Ka-..." He coughs. "
Hn? What was that?" Tobi asks, loosening his grip on the other man's collar.
Deidara coughs again. "K-katsu!"
Tobi disappears just as the explosive clay explodes, he smirks sadistically and laughs under his breath, "Heh...clever, but your can't escape me." Tobi's smirk widens, "Because your already belong to me," he whispered as he faded back into the forest he appeared from, the wind carrying his laugh.
